| Rochelle Ranch Golf Course and clubhouse are the result of a gift from Curt and Marian Rochelle. In making the gift, the Rochelles stated they "wanted to do something for the City of Rawlins and its residents because Rawlins had been good to them." Mr. Rochelle graduated from the University of Wyoming, after which he formed Rochelle Livestock Company. He was very active in local civic organizations, and served in the Wyoming Legislature and on the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees. Mrs. Rochelle is a graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, and was active in oil and gas exploration. The City of Rawlins is proud to accept the Rochelles' donation and is appreciative of their generosity. By combining resources, it is the Rochelles' and the City's goal to provide a unique golf facility that people will enjoy for years to come. | |
